Welcome! I'm an experienced software developer / architect with many years of experience, focused mainly on web application development. I move comfortably in both frontend and backend.

My goal is to build efficient, user-friendly web applications that deliver a great user experience. To achieve the best results, I keep learning new technologies and best practices.

Skills & technologies

Frontend

HTML and CSS are fundamentals to me. I work confidently with SCSS and know how to write semantically correct, accessible websites.

I can build a responsive website that's fully usable in the browser, on tablet, and on mobile. I have experience building installable PWAs (Progressive Web Apps).

I bring the web to life with JavaScript, preferring TypeScript for tighter control over the code. I'm also comfortable with advanced techniques such as working with Service Workers, push notifications, browser storage, and other JavaScript APIs.

I'm familiar with frameworks like Vue.js, Nuxt, Inertia.js, and Bootstrap (I've even built a framework of my own).

I work with package managers like NPM and PNPM. I can configure bundlers and have no trouble building, say, a Vite plugin. To keep the code clean I use linters.

Backend

On the backend I most often use PHP with the Nette framework and MariaDB.

I have extensive experience with the CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks.

I'm also comfortable with other frameworks and languages, such as Symfony or C# and .NET (Framework and Core), and I have experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MongoDB databases.

I can use and build REST APIs and SOAP services.

Other skills

I regularly use tools like Docker (I can build images and set up applications with Docker Compose), Git, and Composer.

For small mobile-app tweaks I can also handle Kotlin.

I can install and configure a Linux server and automate tasks with Bash scripts or Python.

I can write code myself, but I can just as well instruct and review AI that codes on my behalf.

I care about code quality and write automated tests – both unit and integration. I use Vitest on the frontend, and PHPStan and Nette Tester or PHPUnit on the backend.
